There have been some new additions to the Flower Gallery! We have traveled from Egypt with the exotic Blue Egyptian Water Lily to the Amazon! You will now find some images of the beautiful Amazonian Lily – also known as the The Amazon Water Lily or Victoria amazonica waterlily. It is found in the backwaters of South America’s Amazon River. Also known as the Giant Water Lily, the flower only blooms for 2 days – brilliant white on day one then a pink to purple on day two before it disappears below the water.
